Clean place with great location for exploring and partying. Plenty of bars, clubs, and exhibitions within walking distance. Easy access to public transportation. Facilities include games, laundry, and kitchen.

I recently stayed at the Industriepalast in Berlin for a week and it was fantastic. The location is unbeatable, close to the S-Bahn station, the Berlin Wall, and the famous Burgermeister. The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hostel itself is very safe with 24-hour security and a diverse mix of guests. The bike rental option was convenient and there were plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops nearby. The bathrooms were spacious and always empty. The converted factory design was impressive and the breakfast spread was delicious. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Berlin.

I had a great stay at Industriepalast. The location was fantastic, with the metro and tram right outside and the East Side Gallery just down the road. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the showers and toilets were always spotless. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere of the hostel was great. The only downside was that the noise outside could be quite loud, so I would recommend asking for a room facing the back. I would highly recommend this hostel for a stay in Berlin.

The Hostel is really well located, near public transportation like the Ostbahnhof train station (5 min walk), tram and s-bahn stations just across the street. It's near the East Side Gallery and the medieval bridge (1 block away). The hostel has a breakfast buffet for 5 Euros, it's not a luxury breakfast but has the basics (milk, yoghurt, cereals, one type of fruit, bread, cheese, jam, ham, orange juice and some sweet pastries). You have to pay for internet access, they have wi-fi access that you can use it from your room or any wear in the hostel at a convenient fee of 5 euros for 5 days, if you want to use internet for 1 hour is 1 euro. The rooms are clean (they clean them every day), spacious and they have lockers inside. They also give you towels and charge a one time fee of 2 euros for linnen. The bath is clean, but without soap in the shower. If you want some fun visiting bars you are only a bridge away of a cool area for some nightlife.

Location is very central for the areas Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and even Mitte. Close to a lot of public transport options as well.

No cosy atmosphere in the central areas. Right behind the ho(s)tel is a waste separation station. Which means that the trucks start driving at around 7 for 6 days a week.
